1. What does LR2G control mean and how is it different from LR2?

LR2: Basic constant power (horsepower) control – follows a hyperbolic P×Q = const curve to protect the drive motor from overload. Power limiting start point is set mechanically.
LR2G: Same hyperbolic constant power characteristic + remote pressure limiting (pressure cut-off) via an external pilot relief valve connected to the XD port. The pressure at which the pump cuts displacement back (pressure override) is determined by the external pilot valve setting + internal differential (~20 bar). This allows remote adjustment of the max system pressure without opening the pump.

2. How to connect the remote pressure setting for LR2G?

Connect a pilot relief valve (DB …-5X/… type recommended) between the LR2G's XD port and tank. The pilot valve's cracking pressure determines the pressure limiting setpoint. 4. What are critical installation points?
