External Pilot Drain (Y)
The "Y" in the model code indicates external pilot drain. Port Y (pilot control oil drain) must be connected directly to tank with minimal backpressure. High backpressure at port Y will directly reduce the effective cracking pressure (P_effective = P_set - P_Y). This is critical for accurate pressure control.
Current Input (4–20 mA)
The "/F1V" suffix indicates the control signal type. Unlike the common /A1V (0–10 V) variant, this valve accepts a 4–20 mA analog current signal. This is often preferred in industrial environments for its better noise immunity. 4 mA typically corresponds to 0 bar, and 20 mA to 315 bar.
Integrated Electronics (OBE)
The "E" in DBETE confirms on-board electronics (OBE). This means the valve contains its own amplifier. You supply 24V DC power and the 4–20 mA signal directly to the valve's K31 connector, eliminating the need for an external VT-5000 series amplifier.
Low Flow Capacity (2 L/min)
This is a direct-operated seat valve. It provides excellent sealing (zero leakage at closed center) but is strictly limited to 2 L/min. Exceeding this flow will cause excessive pressure override. It is not a main system relief valve for high-flow circuits.
Critical Installation Notes
No External Amplifier Needed: Connect 24V DC power and the 4–20 mA signal directly to the valve.
Flow Limitation: This valve is for pressure control, not for dumping high flows. It is typically used as a pilot valve for larger cartridge valves or for precise pressure control in small circuits.
Return Line Pressure: Port T and Port Y must be connected directly to tank with minimal backpressure. High backpressure will directly reduce the effective setting pressure.
