Noise can stem from cavitation (low fluid pressure), loose mounting bolts, or air in the hydraulic system. Bleed the system, check for leaks, and ensure the supply pressure is within the recommended range.
Routine inspections are recommended every 6 months (or 1000 operating hours), including checks for leakage, wiring damage, and fluid contamination.
Maintain fluid cleanliness to ISO 4406 Class 18/16/13 (or better) to prevent clogging of internal components and extend valve life.
Disconnect power, remove the coil's mounting screws, pull the coil from the valve body, and install the replacement coil (ensuring compatibility with voltage and wiring). Torque screws to 2-3 Nm.
Replace seal rings every 2 years (or 5000 operating hours), or immediately if leakage is detected. Use only Rexroth-approved replacement seals to avoid compatibility issues.
Minor issues (e.g., worn seals, faulty solenoids) can be repaired, but internal spool or housing damage typically requires valve replacement. Contact Rexroth service for complex repairs.
