Integrated Electronics (OBE)
The "E" in DBETE indicates that the valve has on-board electronics (OBE). Unlike the DBET series which require an external amplifier, this valve integrates the amplifier electronics. You supply a ±10 V command signal directly to the valve's connector, and the internal electronics generate the coil current. This simplifies wiring but limits heat dissipation compared to external amplifiers.
Low Flow Capacity (2 L/min)
This is a direct-operated seat valve. It provides excellent sealing (zero leakage at closed center) but is strictly limited to 2 L/min. Exceeding this flow will cause excessive pressure override. It is not a main system relief valve for high-flow circuits.
Pressure Rating (100 bar)
The "100" denotes the maximum electrically adjustable pressure rating of 100 bar. The valve's mechanical pressure limit is much higher (420 bar), but the proportional control range is optimized for 0–100 bar. For higher proportional pressures, consider the DBETE-6X/200G24K31 or DBETE-6X/315G24K31 variants.
Electrical Interface (K31/A1)
K31: 7-pin round connector (6 signal pins + PE). This provides power and signal interface.
A1: Command value input is ±10 V (0 to +10 V typically sets 0 to 100 bar). The internal electronics handle the current control.
Critical Installation Notes
No External Amplifier Needed: Since it has OBE, you do not need a separate VT-5000 series amplifier. Connect 24V DC power and the ±10 V signal directly to the valve.
Flow Limitation: This valve is for pressure control, not for dumping high flows. It is typically used as a pilot valve for larger cartridge valves or for precise pressure control in small circuits.
Return Line Pressure: Port T must be connected directly to tank with minimal backpressure. High backpressure will directly reduce the effective setting pressure (P_set = P_solenoid - P_T).
