  2. Control & Feedback

    The valve features integrated trigger electronics​ (indicated by the absence of /K0). It accepts a standard ±10 V DC​ command signal and provides LVDT spool position feedback​ for closed-loop control. The /Z4​ suffix confirms it comes with a ready-to-use plug and socket connection.

  3. Flow Characteristic (370M)

    The M characteristic​ provides a progressive flow curve. At small spool openings, it offers fine metering for precise slow-speed control, while at larger openings, it delivers high flow for rapid actuator movement.

  4. Fail-Safe Behavior

    This is a single-side actuated​ valve with spring return. In the event of power failure or signal loss, the spring returns the spool to a defined 4/4 fail-safe position​ (typically all ports blocked).

  5. Critical Installation Notes

    • Pilot Oil Supply:​ As a pilot-operated valve, it requires a clean, stable pilot oil supply (port X). The minimum pilot pressure is typically 20 bar.

    • Cleanliness:​ Maintain high oil cleanliness (recommended ISO 4406 18/16/13 or better) due to the sensitive servo-quality pilot stage.

    • Mounting:​ Use the correct ISO 4401-08 (NG25) subplate to ensure proper port alignment and sealing.
