• Fluid Cleanliness: Ensure the hydraulic oil is clean. Use filters when refilling and clean the tank when changing oil to prevent contamination that could cause internal damage.
• Suction Line: The suction line and pump inlet must be tightly sealed to prevent air ingress. The suction pipe should be below the fluid level in the tank, and the pipe end should be cut at a slant.
• Operating Temperature: Monitor the system's operating temperature. The tank temperature generally should not exceed 65°C (55°C for machine tool applications is often recommended) to maintain oil integrity and prevent damage.
